As the owner, I can say that because I conscientiously decide what parts to use on GFBToys. Searching for the right parts led me to use as many as possible to be made here in the USA because I can ask the manufacturer what goes into making their end product. And I have found LOTS of great parts here!
Also, my B.A. in Human Ecology from COA in 1980 also influences me to find as many parts that are:
*eco-friendly / ‘green’ or sustainable
*wood & paper products from FSA certified or managed forest
*all dried fruits do NOT contain sulfur or preservatives…natural
*all sunflower heads (w/seeds) & pinecones (many contain nuts)
are USA grown products, untreated/natural
*plastics that do NOT contain phthalates
*all grass products woven or twisted, not sewn
*all toys are vegetarian approved
* using NO questionable parts *

GFBToys are often copied, but not duplicated in quality of parts used, design or creativity… Here’s what you won’t find in a GFBToy:
-NO hot glue or glue used
-NO wrong sized wire to beak size used
-NO cellophane used
-NO laminated/plywood or pressed wood products (? Glue used)
-NO eye screws in pinecones
-NO strings in hats
